I go in to Start, consequently I went to Settings, and I preferred Control Panel, then from here I selected Display. At Display I go to Settings, but my Screen Resolution lever won't slide!!!!! What should i do????
Answer:
Windows thinks that this is the just resolution your monitor can support, so you need to share it a bit more about your monitor
Right click desktop, select properties
Choose Settings, click Advanced button
Go to the Monitor Tab, click Properties button
You should know how to select a new monitor from here. Choose Standard SVGA and consequently your max resolution (1280*768) is common
Then reboot
After that it should tolerate you bump your resolution up to 1280*768, or soemwhere in between
perchance you're at the max resolution for your monitor? you can always try reinstalling the drivers for your monitor
try restarting your computer. If that doesn't work, unplug your monitor from the computer and power and try restarting again
This happen when your video card's driver is not correct. You are using either an VGA driver or another driver that is to say not fully compateble with your card. Find the brand of your video card ( if you don't own a brand name PC, later you have to clear the box, and look at the card to find out what brand it is) and go the their website and download the correct driver for that model. After installtion of correct driver, it will supply you more resolotion based on your video card’s capebality.
