Which Monitor is the best.?

So i bought a gateway computer, and the lcd monitor messed up not vastly soon after it was purchased. Now im using this really outdated stone aged screen lol . Should i buy another gateway blind since my other stuff is gateway aswell.,, Or should i get a HP or a different brand., What mode would you suggest. Thanks

Answer:

First off contact Gateway, most monitors own a three year warranty. After that if they wont do anything for you than look at a new one.

Since you didn't enjoy luck with the Gateway, I would not turn with them again. It won't cause a difference as to what brand you buy as long as it has the right connections. Look at the stern of your computer, if the connection for the monitor you use is Blue than you want a monitor i.e. VGA if it is white you want a DVI monitor. Personally I would go next to this Dell (or a bigger one from Dell depending on your price range) http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/produ...

its a wide eyeshade 19 for under $200 so its not a discouraging deal.

If you don't want to shift with Dell, also look at Samsung and Veiwsonic monitor, they are both also pretty righteous. The best thing to do is turn to a PC shop and pick the one that has the best trait to you! You want to go next to an LCD (liquid Crystal Display) though.

Hope this helps!
I would suggest contacting Gateway for a replacement of the monitor. If it inferior very soon after you bought it, it would still be beneath warranty.

Most come with a year warranty.
Hmm i can hand over ya some great brand names
