Whats the best gaming monitor out contained by the open market right immediately?

im currently using a 19 sony flat panel monitor but catch sight of its not made for gaming. Im looking for an upgrade, making gettin a 24. Any suggestions??

any pure gaming monitor would have to be a CRT, no padding whatsoever, but monitors (LCDs) now adays are pretty ok near games as long if it has a low response time. You'll sense response times listed within the brief description of the monitor, look for 2ms or 4ms response time if you want a pure gaming experience on a flat panel
