Widescreen hd?

when shopping for an lcd monitor, i own found they are generally categorized surrounded by 2 general branches.. widescreen, and not widescreen (4:3)..



are adjectives 'widescreen' monitors' Hi-def capable (1080)?



I will connecting my hdbox to my tv tuner (which is big def capable), so will the monitor be capable?

NO, not adjectives widescreen LCDs are HD or 1080i or 1080p compatable.

If you want a HD monitor be sure to look for the type of HD you want, breed sure it has the right connectors on it for you TV tuner if that's what you are going for.
Not adjectives are capable of 1080 read the fine print. It will probably be hd able, but you want to know if the resolution is 480, 720 or 1080.
Widescreen monitors are not necessarily 1080p. It depends on the resolutions that the monitor can support. If the monitor is 1920x1080 or higher, you should enjoy no problems displaying high definition content on it.
No not adjectives widescreen monitors are Hi-def some are ED or enhanced definition (720).

Also with the proper video card and monitor you don't requirement a hdbox and they will go to better resolution than 1080.
