Why do my eyes be aware of more effortlessly tired when using a 19-inch LCD monitor than a 17-inch one?

What should I do? Adjust my 19-inch monitor or modification to a 17-inch? Are there any theories something like the optimal size monitor for human eyes?

Answer:

Perhaps because your eyes have to cover more space within the 19 screen, consequently working your eyes more. However, I believe that you will get used to the peak size after using it for some time. Just imagine that you are exercising your eyes (which you are) and next soon you will be used to it.
Adjust the contrast to a lower setting should sort it out.
Turn the brightness down to a comfortable level.

Sit stern a bit further. Everything is bigger, you do not need to sit as close as next to the 17

As for all computer users:

Do not stare at the peak continuously. Look away every few minutes, close your eyes for a second.

Sit back and stretch regularly. Again close your eyes for a second or two.

Every hour or so procure up an move around. Get a drink, go to the bathroom, run say Hi to a friend, anything. Just get up and move your body.

Make sure you drink ample.
