When I monitor a movie on Quick Time Player or Power DVD the eyeshade is extraordinarily gloom . What can I do?

When I survey You.Tube and the like, the video are very obedient. How come when I watch movies or video on Power DVD or Quick Player the screen turns extraordinarily dark?

The display adapter OVERLAY brightness settings obligation to be adjusted. OVERLAY stands for Video Output and controls single videos that are played on your computer.
