Will any topical monitor work next to my computer basically as long as the nouns is matching as the old-fashioned one?

My moniter have like a static charge at the bottom and the peak sometimes jumps but it is really really scarce and it just started a couple of days ago.

Answer:

All monitors will work next to all comptuers, yes, as long as the connector on your monitor can also be found on the comptuers video card/ video on the bus connection. If the mnonitor have a VGA connector, 15 pins ( this is the most common ) after there should be no problem. If the monitor have a DVI connection and your comptuer does not. Then this will not work . They solely make converters to move about from DVI to 15 pin comming from the comptuer. not 15 pin to DVI..

One thing you could try is to translate the refresh rate of the monitor. Depending on the age of the monitor and if it have ever been subjected to static/surge conditions , threre could be a few parts going out. Paticularly within the power supply and or the controls for the horizontal and vertical ckts that run the CRT. ( tube )

This is an easy fix by an electronics geek. But might be time to invest into a unsullied monitor.

yes, as long as the connector cable from your monitor to your pc stays one and the same it will be fine.
Your computer has prominently stored some charges... You problem it does happen from time to time... Anyway, you requirement not worry your monitor will work as long as the nouns matches that of the CPU nouns (Female DB connection)

best of luck
