What open-handed of audio cable do i involve for this monitor w/ my ps3?

Well im buying this monitor w/ built within speakers

now could someone plz provide me w/ a connection that has the audio cable i requirement for sound to come out of the speakers

Hiya RP,



The cable looks great and other priced too. It will handle the HDMI digital to DVI-D digital video signals from the PS3 to the LCD freshly fine. There will be audio over DVI before long but it have not yet be released. Here is the manual for the monitor:

It shows just 1 analog mini-stereo input for audio so you cannot use the optical audio output from the PS3. The monitor does not have an HDMI input s contained by some newer LCD TV sets, so you cannot send the audio over the HDMI to the monitor speakers. You will hold to use the older type RCA outputs on the PS3 and the mini-stereo input on the monitor. Here is the adapter cable you can use:

PS. Afterthought: you will hold to configure the PS3 menu to alow the audio out throught the RCA jacks.
use the cable which has the 2 ends are indistinguishable. they look like the termination of your headsphone.
