I'm not really sure what you're talking going on for... technically there is no such piece as a high def OS... the OS have nothing to do near high def... but if you're chitchat about playing large def tv or video on your computer, you need a video card that can support at most minuscule a high def resolution (1280x720 widescreen or higher) and a monitor (again probably a widescrren) that can output that resolution... but you'll also call for to make sure you're processor can toy with it... most new computers can play giant def video so thats not a big issue
