What is the average time span of a CRT Monitor.?

Used on a regular elementary

size 17

Answer:

Yea. Ten years is a good estimate. Some enjoy been specified to last MUCH longer beneath ideal conditions.

Granted the lifespan depends like mad on it's environment and use as well.

If it is a dusty, smoky environment, you can expect the lifetime to be cut within half.
10+ years
I used mine for more or less 3 years and it was still worthy at that point. I used it all daytime everyday , it was the TV the radio the DVD and activity system and the alarm clock..., just on adjectives the time..then the AC go out in my room and over heated the place and it blew...

from my experience it will stay ok up until conditions are unfavorable.I enjoy worked in the paddock and never knew a monitor to blow for no motivation...
Longer than you'll want to use it anyway.
Depends on how you use it, and on the design life.

I would expect 10,000 hours at a minimum. More expensive monitors are regularly deigned for 3 years of continuous use, or roughly 25,000 hours. Generally you get what you pay packet for.

That is an average design life. As next to all electronics YMMV.
bought mine within 1995 and it still works

all colours within and all pixels (800x600 maximum)

crust in stipulation of refurb though
