What do i do if my start menu and time etc. on the bottom of my computer peak is missing?

I own a windows 98-----> what should I do?

Answer:

Hiya Ash,

To bring back it back and maintain it back do this:

1. Press the Windows Key on your grand piano, this should pop up your Start Menu. The Taskbar with the clock and icon may still be hidden by AUTO HIDE or after an totally unplanned resizing.

2. With Win98 you can use the mouse to change the mass of the Taskbar but sometimes you can accidentally change the size to nought by dragging it toward the edge of the eyeshade and letting go. If this is the satchel, rebooting to Safe Mode will bring it back.

3. Once you are final in Windows and you hold the Taskbar and Start Menu working normally you should bring in sure the AUTO HIDE is set the way you want it. Click the Start Button or press the Windows push button, then click SETTINGS and consequently click Taskbar & Start Menu. This will open the Taskbar properties applet which allows you to set a few option. Now you can uncheck the box next to Auto pelt, which will prevent the Taskbar from disappearing.

GOOD LUCK!!
It is probably just hiding.

If you move the mouse down to the bottom of the blind does it come back? You may inevitability to try the sides and top in luggage it got moved and is underhand.

If it is hidden and you want to save it visible, after move the mouse onto it, left click and select properties. Somewhere near should be a tick box for Autohide. Click on that and click O.K.

If it does not pop up when you move the mouse to all edges of the peak, then I don`t know this is your computer telling you to obtain a better OS.
