I know you can buy special solutions, but is here anything in everyday household that will do the trick
Answer:
ASDA are selling a PHILIPS cleaning tools for @ lb7.99.
this is for LCD or STANDARD screens.
comes next to micro fibre cloth & fluid and it works really okay.
vinegar does the trick - but not too much, slightly diluted on a cloth
I use windolene (sp) - works a treat.
Failing that isopropyl alcohol is a winner!
A tip from my local Computer shop technician..
Immediately after turning stale your computer (The screen will still be thaw out & will dry more easily)..Wipe over the screen beside a chamois or a j-cloth which has be in thaw soapy water and rung out tight and after dry off near a microfibre cloth. Only use gentle pressure when cleaning/drying.
Does a devout job.Try it!!
STOP !! dont use wet/damp/hot cloths. that awful. sorry have to stop you there. what you entail to use is use a dry duster with no polish on it or atleast dry polish
this works on my Goodmans LCD tele
hope this help you mate
just use a slightly humidity washcloth (water) and dry it
