What does 300:1 mingy surrounded by TFT aspect ratio?

I've be told a certain Samsung is the one to turn for in my quest for a widescreen monitor.

The contrast ratio is speced at 1000:1(DC 3000:1). Most other models in recent times say 1000:1.

So Id resembling to know about the DC amount. What is it and do I need it?

Answer:

DC stands for dynamic contrast ratio. As for do you obligation it, you don't absolutely want it, but if you had something that be just 1000:1, versus 1000:1 beside a DC of 3000:1, the second would perform better surrounded by certain situations. As for what it is and how it works, read up on it here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/contrast_ra...
TFT is dilute film transistor, a type of flat panel LCD display next to 300 : 1 aspect ratio. It's the best resolution of all flat panel displays.
